U15 C (Chatham Kent Girls Hockey)

U15C Chatham Crush played in London on friday at 12:30 beating Sarnia 4-2, then losing an entertaining and high energy game 3-2 to a very good London C team. Saturday we played Lambeth and beat them 2-0, shutout for Jules Authier. Sunday morning semi final, we squeaked a 1-0 win over Lambton, setting up rematch with London in finals. Finals were held on the Jr B ice pad of London Nationals, big ice not to our advantage against the London Devilettes. U15C girls came to play in Woodstock. Strong goaltending by Jules Authier, combined with all around team effort, helped lock up 1st in standing after round robin play at 3-0. All with shutouts. Beat Stratford 3-0 Woodstock C2   4-0 Woodstock C1  1-0 Had bye in first games of playoffs, then matched up against Woodstock C1 again on sunday morning. Unfortunately Woodstock scored with 50 seconds left in the 3rd period, ending our tournament hopes. But winning 3 and losing only 1, is a great weekend of hockey for the girls. U15C Chatham Crush played hard on the week going 3-0-1 in the round robin. Tied Lambton Attack 1-1 Beat Woodstock Wildcats 2-0 Beat St Marys Rock 4-1 Beat BAD 1-0 Lost in semi finals sunday morning to Nepean 2-1. Didnt have have legs for early game. Girls came together , played hard and had great results. Extremely pleased with the effort the girls brought to the ice. Great job team, keep climbing that ladder!
