The Chatham Kent Girls Hockey Association (CKGHA) is currently looking for a head coach for the U18AA team for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to lead and mentor our talented group of players as they continue to grow and develop in the sport.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the U18AA team through the remainder of the 2024-25 season

Plan, organize, and run on-ice practices and off-ice training sessions
-
Foster a positive and competitive team environment

Support player development and individual growth
-
Work closely with parents, players, and other coaching staff

Uphold CKGHA’s values of sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork
Qualifications:
-
Previous coaching experience at the U18 level or higher is an asset

Must have a minimum Developmental 1 Certified and have/be willing to complete the following areas through the Coaching Association of Canada “The Locker”

High Performance 1 (HP1) certification is considered an advantage

Strong knowledge of the game of hockey and player development

Ability to motivate, communicate, and work effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches

Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
