SEASON ENDING AFTER SUNDAY
Submitted By admin on Saturday, March 20, 2021
It is with a sad heart that the board has decided to end the current season after Sunday's ice times. With Chatham-Kent moving again to a Red Zone it just isn't feasible to carry on with hockey in the reduced capacity.
The move to Red "Control" would mean that no games or scrimmages could be played, and practices would be limited to 10 players on the ice.
The Board will be meeting in early April to determine refunds for all affected teams. We will also need to work out a way to return jerseys and equipment in the coming days.
Coaching applications are still being accepted for next year.
We would like to thanks all of the parents, players, coaches, and sponsors for their support in the trying season.
Please stay safe everyone and in the words of Red Green "Keep your stick on the ice!"This article has been viewed 400 times.
