Registration Fees – 2nd installment
As we began the hockey season back in August, there was much uncertainty. This season isn’t like any other, and now that we have clarity on registration numbers. Our registration numbers are down compared to other years and when we rolled out registration fees in August, we assumed greater numbers. Today we are updating registration fees and the payment structure.
Your initial payment of $200 covered your player’s insurance, a portion of your coaching staff’s insurance as well as 1 ice per week from Sept 1 to Oct 31st.
We’ve updated our budget and currently require registration to be $525 for the year. These fees cover 1 ice per week, insurance fees as well as coverage of coaching and trainer certifications and police checks. We are breaking this up into 2 more installments
- Next installment of $200 due by November 30th will cover ice from Nov 1st to Jan 31st
- Final installment of $125 due January 31st and will cover ice Feb 1st to Mar 31st
Please e-transfer $200 with your daughters first and last name and team they are on – to help us match up payments with players. Email for payment is [email protected] (You are not required to do anything in RAMP, our amazing registrar will look after that - sorry about the confusion -on top of everything else, dealing with a new OWHA system too)
We recognize that other associations have varying payment structures and totals, but there are many factors that need to be considered, such as size of the organization, number of skaters sharing the ice, sponsorships, fundraising and carryover amounts. We are a small organization, in its 2nd year of operations, with a small board of directors. By structuring our fees in 3 payments – it allows us to adjust if variables change before January 31st.
