Competitive Coaching Selections
Submitted By Jessica Tufford on Monday, May 11, 2020
The board would like to provide a coaching update for the 2020-2021 season (whatever that may look like).

The following are the competitive team head coaches for the 2020-2021 hockey season (whatever that may be):

U18 AA (Midget) - Diane Peters
U18 A/BB/B (Midget) - Bob McNear
U18 C (Midget) - TBD
U15 (Bantam) - Brandon Boyko
U13 (PeeWee) - Mike Pearce
U11 (Atom) - Mike Tufford

At this time, we've postponed selecting House league team coaches.  We expect to have the following House League teams in the 2020-2021 season and will do all we can to ensure coaches are available to run these:

U22 (Intermediate)
U15 (Bantam)
U13 (PeeWee)
U11 (Atom)
U9 (Novice)
Fundamental - Learn to play Hockey, if we can secure the funding

The board would like to thank all of those who applied and had the courage to put their name forward to lead these teams.  We know this isn't an easy task but in the end is a very worthwhile experience.

We would also like to thank all those coaches from the 2019-2020 season, our inaugural season.  For those that are stepping away we thank you for all that you've done for our association and your teams and wish you the best going forward.  For those continuing to coach with CKGHA we look forward to the future and whatever that may hold for us.  We are also planning some additional support and resourcing for you and would appreciate your input on what resources or support you believe would benefit your team.
