Silver for Bantam A in Guelph

The Chatham-Kent Bantam A Crush went 3-1-2 in the Guelph Winter Classic. Suffering their only defeat in the finals to the Barrie Sharks. The Guelph Classic featured 5 of the top 8 ranked teams in Ontario (CK currently ranked 7th) and proved to be some very stiff competition providing exciting games.

The Bantams only allowed 7 goals in 6 games with 3 shutouts. Amber Parent shutout both Woolwich and Lakeshore while Libby Barnard shutout Ottawa Thunder in the semi final. Goal scorers for the weekend included Lindsay St. Germain (3), Abby Tape (4), Jeanette Legere (2), Hudson DeNure, Morgyn Woudenburg (2), Emily DeBrouwer and  Lucie Maine. With assists from Abby Tape, Lindsay St. Germain, Alex Maryschak (2), Leah Day, Ashlynn Spence (2), Adriana Pezzutti, Karys VanDeWiele and Jeanette Legere.
